The Lie - Størmer Center will be center-of-excellence uniting renowned mathematicians with core research expertise in algebra, topology, geometry and computational mathematics. Its aim is the exploration of fundamental problems in modern mathematics by bridging the research frontiers between computational and pure mathematics. Its mission isthe fostering of a future generation of high-level mathematicians trained to identify and work on problems atthe forefront of research at the interface between computational and pure mathematics.
